Cocktail Mixologist New Opening (City Centre Birmingham)
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: per annum plus tips and performance incentives
Hours: Full-time Approx. 48 hours per week 4 on / 4 off rota
We are recruiting a Cocktail Mixologist to join the bar team at a high-profile restaurant opening in Birmingham city centre operated by a group behind Michelin- and AA-accredited venues.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative guest-focused mixologist to help shape a drinks offering that complements high-quality ingredient-led food across breakfast brunch lunch and evening service.
The Role
As Cocktail Mixologist youll take ownership of cocktail execution and development while delivering an engaging polished bar experience throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating and serving high-quality cocktails across all service periods
Developing seasonal cocktail menus and signature drinks using fresh ingredients
Delivering warm confident guest service and driving drinks sales through upselling
Maintaining consistency speed and presentation during busy services
Training and supporting junior bar team members
Managing stock ordering recipe costing and wastage control
Supporting events tastings and cocktail-led experiences as required
Ensuring compliance with licensing health & safety and hygiene standards
About You
Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in quality-led hospitality
Strong cocktail knowledge with a creative approach to flavours and presentation
Confident personable and comfortable engaging with guests
Organised with a good understanding of stock control and costing
Calm under pressure with the ability to work efficiently during peak periods
Flexible to work a 4 on / 4 off rota including evenings and weekends
Right to work in the UK
