Job Summary
Job Summary:
The Field Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation monitoring and maintenance of production facilities including cryogenic and air separation units. The role requires hands-on field activities strict adherence to safety standards and close coordination with operations and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted and safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor field equipment related to production utilities air separation units and cryogenic systems
Perform routine inspections readings and basic troubleshooting of equipment and pipelines
Ensure safe startup shutdown and normal operation of process units as per standard operating procedures
Identify abnormal operating conditions and report issues promptly to supervisors
Assist maintenance teams during breakdowns planned maintenance and shutdown activities
Follow all health safety and environmental regulations at site
Maintain accurate log sheets and operational records
Coordinate effectively with team members and control room operators
Maintain good housekeeping standards in assigned areas
Respond to emergencies in accordance with site procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Technician Degree in Production Maintenance or other equivalent Technical Departments
An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is acceptable

Required Experience:
Minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in:
Air Separation Units operations
Cryogenic systems within Oil and Gas or industrial facilities
Job-Specific Skills (Technical and Generic):
Fluent in spoken and written English
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Ability to stand for long periods during shift operations
Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand walk and work in field conditions for extended periods
Ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends if required
