Schedule: 16 hours per week Varies Mon-Fri Coverage on weekends as needed

Department: Porter Hills Village Independent Living

What Youll Do in This Role:


As a Wellness Partner youll help residents find joy and purpose through engaging activities that support their overall wellness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support wellness programs and activities for our residents
  • Assist residents in attending community supported trips.
  • Suggests new opportunities for programming.
  • Inventory supplies and ensure they are readily available for use.
  • Facilitate recurring events in the Wellness Guides absence.
  • Make routine visits to residents and actively engage the resident 1:1 as necessary.
  • Perform documentation duties as necessary.
  • Assist the Wellness Guide in the planning organizing and scheduling community events related to residents interests.

What Youll Need:


  • Two years of experience working in a social or recreation program preferred.
  • Education and/or experience working in senior living preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proven ability to successfully implement appropriate and meaningful programming.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
