Senior Software Tester

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Software Tester fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on-site at customer the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Definition of test plans and test cases;
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
• Execution of tests;
• Test coordination;
• Reporting of test results;
• Design prepare and perform end-to-end tests (mixing automated and manual tests);
• Design prepare and perform system integration testing (mixing automated and manual tests);
• Investigate bugs to find root causes in a complex web of applications test and validate bug fixes;
• Interaction with the business analysts customer users project leaders and the developers.

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
• Hands-on experience in the manual Testing;
• Experience with Test Management Tools notably Zephyr;
• Experience with Defect Tracking tools notably Jira;
• Strong experience with testing technologies tools and techniques;
• Experience in test data management and SQL database operations (e.g. Oracle);
• Experience with agile methodology (Scrum);
• Experience with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing;
• Experience with Business Process Modelling;
• Optional certification : ISTQB certification or equivalent;
• Excellent command of the English language.
