Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours/day)
Pay Rate: $45 $51 per hour

Responsibilities
Assess patient nutritional status using electronic medical records and interdisciplinary input
Apply nutrition screening and assessment techniques to diverse patient populations
Develop implement and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans
Document assessments interventions and outcomes in accordance with policy
Provide nutrition counseling to patients and family members
Assess and recommend enteral and parenteral nutrition support as appropriate
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with care teams
Assist with discharge planning related to nutrition care
Precept dietetic interns and provide performance feedback
Participate in community-focused nutrition education programs
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience including completion of a dietetic internship
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
RD-eligible candidates must obtain credential within 3 months of hire
New York State Dietitian licensure (required)
Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
High attention to detail including accuracy in nutrient calculations and data analysis
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with inborn errors of metabolism and/or pediatric nutrition
Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (required)
