As a Clinical Therapist Associate you will provide individualized trauma-informed culturally and linguistically competent services based on evidence-based practices for children and youth ages 6 - 17 and their families in home school and community-based this role you will need to be an effective communicator have a friendly and welcoming disposition exhibit flexibility and be an exceptional team player. You will provide initial assessments for enrollment into services for referred children and youth and determine best treatment level in conjunction with a licensed therapist. As a Clinical Therapist Associate you will impact the community by demonstrating and building promotive and protective factors in the children and families you serve.
Minimum Education: Masters Degree
Defined Education: Health and Human Services related field
Preferences: Spanish speaking
Years Experience: One (1) year
Defined Experience: Human Services Academic or Research setting
License/Certifications: Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) OR Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW) seeking licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within 6 months of employment including receipt of clinical supervision AND certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) training and certification provided on the job within 90 days
