What You Will Do

• Leads collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources to develop quality strategy and programs.

• Drives quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.

• Provides expertise in production process analysis ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for key quality improvements.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement and activities.

• Develops and implements Quality Assurance plans guidelines policies and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.

• Develops organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving and directs implementation.

• Train site personnel in quality concepts changes in process improvement projects and other related topics.

• Assist in the development of Quality procedures and processes to improve product quality increase departmental efficiency reduce/eliminate inefficient processes.

• Ability to measure analyze and assess complex processes.

• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

• Understanding of Root Cause and Correction Action Management.

• Understanding of Failure Modes & Effect Analysis Process Flow Diagrams and/or Control and Reaction Plans

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced Degree in a related field.

• Experience in manufacturing in aerospace aviation or automotive industry.

• Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).

• Experience with Lean management tools.

• Experience in measuring and reporting key quality characteristics and objectives including PPM COPQ product testing etc.

• Experience documenting with MES/SAP or similar tool as well as experience creating Corrective Action Reports.

• CMM experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
