Job Summary
We are hiring an Environmental Scientist to join an outstanding Field Services laboratory team! This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors collecting environmental samples and conducting environmental monitoring to protect water quality. You will work with customers to collect surface water ground water drinking water stormwater systems and assisting in performing biological assessments by identifying aquatic invertebrate fish algae and other aquatic vegetation. You will be trusted to: - Collect routine surface water stormwater and drinking water samples |
You qualify with: - Sixteen or more college semester credit hours in biology or chemistry and four or more years of experience in environmental sampling and monitoring or other relevant experience. An Associates or Bachelors degree(s) in chemistry biology microbiology environmental science physical sciences or engineering may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.A Masters or Doctoral degree(s) in the above disciplines may each be substituted for one year of experience.
