Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing setting up maintaining and cleaning up the hotels complimentary breakfast service. This role plays a key part in creating a positive guest experience by providing a clean welcoming and well-stocked breakfast area with friendly and attentive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the breakfast area in accordance with brand standards and health regulations.
- Prepare and replenish food and beverage items ensuring freshness and proper presentation.
- Greet guests warmly answer questions about menu items and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast and dining areas including tables chairs counters and floors.
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management in a timely manner.
- Ensure all equipment is clean sanitized and in good working order.
- Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines at all times.
- Break down and clean up breakfast area after service storing items properly.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Friendly professional and guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work early mornings weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Ability to stand bend lift and carry items up to 30 lbs. for extended periods.
Work Schedule
This position typically starts between 5:00 AM 6:00 AM and ends late morning depending on business needs.
