Role Background

Reporting to the Regional Head of Media and Campaigns this individual is tasked with the (strategic) planning execution and continuous refinement of our marketing and media campaign plans across the board. You will be responsible for aligning supporting and executing the full-funnel media planning and buying strategies across various paid and owned channels from awareness to this context you will be strategizing planning negotiating and purchasing ad space ensuring effective cross-media audience targeting within the budget and with the right measurement in place.

Based on performance you will be responsible for optimizing the media and campaign budget to maximize the impact of our marketing campaigns and also drive innovation by testing new channels or ways to measure campaign impact. Post-campaign you will dive into data to analyze impact and pull learnings for scaling activities in the future. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams internal and external stakeholders and agencies you will ensure alignment with overall business objectives while leveraging market insights to drive regional growth.

Working closely with our performance marketing team you will make sure we effectively play offline and online channels altogether. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking campaign and project management abilities strong analytical skills combined with an innovative mindset and creative problem-solving to optimize marketing efforts across various channels in Germany while still being very much in the details of the media planning and execution. Your contribution will ensure our marketing strategies and campaigns are both innovative and aligned with our broader financial and operational goals.

What youll be doing

  • Engage in and support the development and implementation of impactful German 360 campaign and media plans to support business objectives.
  • Ensure solid and detailed campaign plans and the operationally excellent execution of these across the board of paid owned and earned media for various campaign types from brand to tactical or expansion/densification.
  • Manage timelines deadlines budgets and KPIs driving business results.
  • Support the execution of cohesive brand (Offline) media promo and online user acquisition strategies.
  • Manage regional campaign budgets effectively for meeting the overall media buying strategy and optimizing towards campaign and business goals.
  • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders from the Partnerships teams over Deals team Brand Marketing Performance Marketing Channel managers and media / creative agencies to ensure maximal collaboration and goal alignment.
  • Brief creative teams to facilitate the development of compelling and relevant campaign content as well as meeting deadlines for deliverables.
  • Drive the media buying across channels with an integrated full-funnel approachoffline and online briefing media agency/partners and working alongside the internal media channel teams and managers for an aligned campaign planning media buying and for meeting overall budgets and goals.
  • Track campaign performance gather learnings and provide recommendations for optimizing marketing mix allocation in order to maximize and scale impact alongside our analytics team.
  • Ensure meticulous campaign documentation and communicate campaign progress as well performance to key stakeholders.
  • Support the forecasting of campaign outcomes help set clear objectives and contribute to strategic long-term planning.
  • Monitor KPIs to inform marketing investment decisions and strategy adjustments.

Our expectations

  • You have 4 yrs. experience with a proven track record in campaign management strategy planning and media planning and buying.
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics and media landscape offline is a must digital is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to lead develop and execute successful media marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and challenge data provide actionable insights and using data to design develop execute and evaluate campaigns and strategies.
  • Strong social and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • You are a reliable team player with the ability to deliver results on time and successfully manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Key competencies in: xfunctional thinking analytical skills for data-driven decisions media planning and buying skills for optimizing budgets negotiation skills for optimizing efficiency communication skills for managing stakeholders effectively strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and impact.
  • You have a proactive mentality - an independent thinker who can work with limited guidance but can deliver a successful outcome through grit and determination.
  • Prior experience with hyperlocal marketing is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a fast-moving environment with a strong focus on achieving targets and getting things done.
  • Fluent in German & in English.
