Job Summary

For over 15 years Study Smart Tutors have provided tutoring college preparation and enrichment programming for thousands of students and families. We are currently looking for a Middle School Math (Certified Teacher) Tutor to join our group at our Sanford Fl location. Candidates must hold a 4-year degree and be a certified teacher to be considered. It offers an excellent pay rate of $40 per hour including the Benefits mentioned below. MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TUTORS RESPONSIBILITIES: (Included but not limited to)

Subjects to be taught: Math & ELA
Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
Partner with Study Smart Tutors Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

jjQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TUTOR:

MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
MUST be a CERTIFIED TEACHER
Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
In-person availability is required
Scheduled hours: Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM EST
Complete and pass a background check which may include fingerprinting based on location.
