In financial operations at PwC you will specialise in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organisations. Your work will involve assessing financial processes identify areas for improvement and design and implement solutions to streamline financial operations enhance controls and reduce costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation process automation and financial shared services.

A career in our Finance Transformation practice within Consulting services will provide the opportunity to work alongside Finance leaders to optimize the structure of their finance functions re-architect Finance processes and implement new technology to enable their transformation journey. Join a team of business professionals who work with clients to solve complex problems; utilizing tools to digitally upskill Finance teams. Work with clients to establish and deliver on their transformation roadmap to create value for Finance and beyond. Working in a diverse team you will help our clients identify process performance and people opportunities and lead the development of meaningful solutions to deliver sustainable change

As aFinancial Transformation Senior Associateyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work with colleagues across PwC to sell and deliver business-led technology enabled projects to fulfill client needs for Finance Consulting services
Participate and support the preparation of workshops with key Finance stakeholders
Play an active part in the delivery of Finance Transformation engagements including
Finance technology tool implementations for Finance Operations (e.g.SAP WorkdayMicrosoftand Oracle)
Finance Vision & Strategy and Target Operating Model design
Finance Processes assessment and improvement supported by technology
Support the engagement manager / director / partner in managing engagement risk and project economics including planning and budgeting
Prepare deliverable content and ensure the quality of deliverables meets with PwC and client expectations
Participate in aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to proposal writing

Experiences and skillsyoulluse to solve

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
Professional Finance experience is an asset (e.g.Accounting FP&A Reporting & Analytics)
Consulting or audit experience is an asset especially within the Big 4 firms
MBA and/or a CPA designation is an asset
Experience with ERP implementation initiatives and projects (e.g.SAP WorkdayMicrosoftand Oracle) is an asset
Workingexpertiseor understanding in many if not all of the coreAccountingareas:
Record-to-Report financial close consolidation financial reporting Fixed Assets Inventory Payroll
Order-to-Cash order entry customer credit invoicing accounts receivable collections
Procure-to-Pay procurement accounts payable
Experience in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives and projects in the coreback officeaccounting areas (see above) in either a consultant or internal role.
