Job Summary

Bluegrass Surgery and Laser Center is currently searching for a Full Time Registered OR Nurse to work Mondays Fridays (4 10-hour shifts) who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.

Candidates for this position are required to:

Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care.
Utilize the nursing process to perform safe and individualized nursing care throughout the Pre-op Intra-op and post-operative process.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing knowledge and skills be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
