The Montana Board of Crime Controls (MBCC) mission is to proactively contribute to public safety crime prevention and victim assistance through planning policy development and coordination of the justice system in partnership with citizens government and communities in support of this mission MBCC is comprised of twenty-one dedicated employees possessing a shared vision of public service for Montanas most vulnerable citizens. To support and inform the work of the MBCC Montanas Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) is housed within the Board. The SAC collects analyzes and reports statistics on crime and justice to all levels of government and manages grants to improve criminal justice data quality and to support criminal justice research.
