Role specifics and benefits:
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of speech language voice fluency resonance and swallowing disorders across pediatric and where appropriate adult caseloads.
- Develop implement and monitor individualized evidence-based treatment plans designed to optimize communication and safe swallowing with measurable goals aligned to patient-centered outcomes.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions adapt strategies to cognitive and linguistic diversity and integrate augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technologies as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses SLP assistants educators and families to coordinate care share progress and refine intervention plans through interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings.
- Document assessments progress notes and discharge summaries with accuracy timeliness and compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- Engage in ongoing professional development supervise assistants when applicable and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
