Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in purchasing materials supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization
- Qualifies vendors evaluates bids and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
- Tracks purchases monitors vendors quality and maintains a current database
- Responsible for sourcing negotiating and purchasing material and repairs to support material programs.
- Assist on the evaluation of available inventory in the marketplace.
- Ensuring that all purchases have documentation that meet AerSales Quality requirements.
- Reporting on PO activity as required by Management.
- Preparing and distributing Vendor Management reports.
- Reviewing existing orders and expediting as needed.
- Updating the POs with current price and delivery status.
- Interface with Program Management regarding market availability of material and coordinating purchases for customer programs.
- Complying with Corporate Purchasing policies procedures and guidelines.
- Coordinate with Corporate Quality to ensure that vendors and purchases meet company requirements
- Clerical duties include but are not limited to screening phone calls filing & scanning
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
