In this role you will be working as a CMM Quality Specialist for a client that works in the construction industry. This position will be responsible for performing inspections with a 3D CMM Scanning System.
This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
- High school or Technical school training in metrology
- 3 years of as a Quality Inspector with metrology
- Able to read technical drawings and schematics
- Experience working in a machine shop or structural steel fabrication shop
- Experience using a CMM device - Keyence experience preferred
- Responsible for performing metrology QC measurements
- Maintain quality records and scan reports
- Able to work on a production floor
- Travel to project sites in the US and Canada
