How youll contribute

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement reduce pain and restore functional independence.

Put your physical therapy skills to work where theyre really needed -evaluate a patients condition develop a treatment plan and help them get better day by day. Youll also instruct the nursing staff and the patients families on follow-through programs that build on the progress theyve made.
Provide direct patient care to restore strength mobility and function.
Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory licensing payer and accrediting requirements
Instruct patients family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Companys Code of Business Conduct the Corporate Compliance Agreement appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Education: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
Experience: Experience in inpatient rehab preferred.
License: Current license to practice occupational therapy.
Certifications: CPR certification required.
