The Security personnel will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility employees residents and guests.

Description of responsibilities:

• Conduct safety and security inspections

• Patrol community buildings and grounds as scheduled

• Report irregularities such as fire hazards leaking water pipes and unsecure doors

• Inspect and report all dangerous conditions and any damaged or defective equipment machinery and property

• Investigate and report unlawful activity safety hazards incidents and suspicious occurrences

• Respond to all security calls and complaints; take appropriate action

• Secure community buildings according to policy and community expectations

• Notify police or fire department in situations where their emergency response is needed

• Sound fire alarm in the case of fire emergency

• Complete housekeeping duties as assigned

• Answer Community phones

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

• One year job related experience preferred

Required skills:

• Interest in working with a senior population

• Demonstrated customer service skills

• Ability to handle multiple priorities

• Organization and time management skills

• Good judgement problem solving and decision-making skills

• Must be able to work independently
