Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare this role you will provide advanced critical care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. You ll be part of a highly skilled collaborative team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through teamwork innovation and compassionate care.

As a CVICU RN you will care for our sickest patients including those requiring ventilator support titratable drips and post-cardiac surgical monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an advocate for patients and their families ensuring privacy dignity and respect.
• Deliver evidence-based high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Administer and monitor medications drips and ventilator management per physician orders and protocols.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding conditions treatments and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 2 3 years) Acute Care ICU RN experience. (Required)
  • Will consider RNs with 2 years of Progressive Care (PCU) experience.
• Education:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure:
  • Active Florida RN license or approved multistate (compact) license required.
  • Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
• Certifications:
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire/transfer
  • ACLS required within 90 days of hire/transfer
