Job Overview
Our Software Quality Performance Engineeringteam ensures that our next-generation software is of the highest quality. We conduct a wide range of Performance Scalability and Reliability tests and analyses to ensure that our software meets or exceeds end-user requirements. We debug software latency or through put discrepancies in our products ensure PSRT tests are executed & metrics/number documented analyze the results provide feedback to developers/Product owners and make sure that all performance/reliability problems are resolved. We also select Baseline specifications for new products and ensure testing procedures comply with industry-specific standards. As this is for a Senior Software Performance Engineer the person should come with excellent test automation framework development and maintenance skills and good in arriving at test plans test strategy test data debugging and reporting skills. He/She should have good mentoring skills and work as a team member for overall success of the team and product.
Essential Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or related subject.
- 6 - 8 years of working experience in Software Testing and Performance engineering.
- Experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive performance test strategy technical approach detailed test plans and test scenarios.
- Hands-on working knowledge on Linux File-system and Linux system analysisShell (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in programming languages Java & JMeter(Mandatory skills).
- Application and System level profiling (Ex: with tools likeyourkit)
- Hands on experience in Thread dump analysis Heap dump analysis PostGreSQL/MySQLdatabase analysis (Ex: DB Perf analysis Execution plan analysisetc)
- Hands-on experience with development and testing practices suitable for an Agile/Lean development organization including TDD Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Experience working with complex distributed systems and cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Experience in working with Jenkins
- Excellent Oral and Written communication is a must.
- Train and mentor team members for the implementation oftestautomationstrategies and best practices.
