We are looking for environmental professionals to join our teams that regulate industrialand wasteinstallations across the East Anglian Region.
As a regulatoryofficeryou will be at the forefront of protecting people and the environment from harm and securing environmental improvements.
This is particularly important to deliver our aim to drive forward our climate ambitions and support green growth.
You will undertake compliance assessment activities at a range of industrial sites.
You will ensurepermitcompliance and make complex assessments of an operators ability to protect the environment preventpollutionand optimise use of resources. At times you will set conditions under which a site may continue tooperateand enforce these.
You will use your influencing and negotiating skills to secure best practice often dealing with people at senior levels within industry and local communities.
You will respond to and investigate incidents across our portfolio of sites making sure preventive and protective action is implemented.
You will also be expected to take up an incident management role in the wider business which may include out of hours standby duties.
