Security Officer- Full Time, Rotating Shift

Heres What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required And
• Associates Degree Business Administration Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Security or closely related field is preferred
• 2 Years security law enforcement or military police is preferred and
• 2 Years healthcare or education is preferred
• DL - Drivers License Class C and insurable Upon Hire is required And
• ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days is required And
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 Strongly preferred.
• NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 Days is required And
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 Days is required And
• TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 Days is required
• Ability to make independent decisions with tact and mature/positive attitude. ability to assume responsibilities. Ability to be cooperative discreet and courteous within scope of assigned authority.
• Must possess the ability to physically defend and/or restrain people.
• Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation.

What You Will Do

• Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.
• Locks and opens doors according to schedules.

• Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.

• Provides onsite uniformed presence as needed for buildings experiencing imminent threats.

• Provides transport/and escorts to and from campus parking lots
