Sign on Bonus up to $15000 offered for qualified candidates.
Shift: Four ten-hour shifts 0700-1730 Monday-Friday with rotating call
Overview
Cardiothoracic Operating Room Scrub Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a safe and sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure for the cardiothoracic patient. Responsibilities includemanaging surgical instruments maintaining sterility and a sterile field assisting the surgeon by providing necessary tools performing surgical counts to ensure no instruments are left behind and coordinating with the broader surgical team. Manages complex open heart and thoracic surgeries to include bypass surgery valve replacement aortic dissection repair heart transplant TAVR and open minimally invasive thoracic cases. Responsible for the delivery of safe effective and quality patient-family centered care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
