Core Responsibilities
This role covers operations in the B2B Retail eCommerce platforms but does not cover D2C platform.
Core Responsibility covers the following 4 area to enhance our digital catalog improve the digital shelf and online presence.
Content Optimization: Set up and refine product pages and brand stores to boost visibility and engagement.
SEO Enhancement: Optimize product titles and descriptions for search engines.
Campaign leadership: Design online brand campaigns and landing pages supervised by Retail Marketing Manager
Retail Media: Plan and execute media activations supervised by Retail Marketing Manager.
To excel in this role the following elements are expected:
Localization: Adapt content for different languages and customer needs.
Creative Collaboration: Work with creative teams to ensure content quality.
Performance Analysis: Use analytics to inform strategy and drive improvements.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with sales and marketing to align brand strategies.
Regional Consistency: Maintain consistent brand delivery in the APAC region.

This role Assistant Manager Digital Merchandising and Retail Marketing will lead the holistic digital merchandising in the eCommerce from planning campaigns supervised by eCommerce Retail Marketing Manager to designing Brand pages setting up Product Detail Pages day to day optimizations and test&learn initiatives. It requires a deep understanding of the brand strategy and campaign objectives to deliver the cohesive merchandising structure. Successful applicant is highly encouraged to bring digital/eCommerce expertise and experience to not only drive the success of the channel but to help build stronger digital capabilities in the Sales team and overall BU Japan to innovate for the future.
Do you have what it takes
Minimum Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Analytics or related field (or equivalent commercial experience)
3 years experience in the eCommerce digital merchandising retail marketing or related field. Experience from consumer packaged goods and/or childrens category strongly preferred
Working knowledge of eCommerce sites and retail marketing tools/landscape
Ability to partner with cross functional teams including but not limited to sales brand marketing & analytics in order to tackle complex problems and deliver results
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present data in an organized manner
Fluent in both Japanese and English
