Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist Generalist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate is patient-focused technically proficient and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures ensuring comfort safety and clear communication throughout the process
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce accurate high-quality diagnostic images
Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to protect patients staff and self
Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission for physician interpretation
Accurately document patient information and imaging data in RIS and EMR systems
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and clinical staff to support efficient and effective patient care
Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns
Ensure compliance with hospital policies Joint Commission standards and applicable regulatory requirements
Assist with patient mobility and transfers as needed during imaging procedures
Requirements
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) program or equivalent
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist licensure
ARRT certification with active registration
Strong knowledge of general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
Excellent technical analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
