Shift & Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM

• TuesdayFriday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (or 7:00 AM 3:00 PM based on departmental needs)

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist Generalist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate is patient-focused technically proficient and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

• Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures ensuring comfort safety and clear communication throughout the process

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce accurate high-quality diagnostic images

• Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to protect patients staff and self

• Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission for physician interpretation

• Accurately document patient information and imaging data in RIS and EMR systems

• Collaborate with radiologists physicians and clinical staff to support efficient and effective patient care

• Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies Joint Commission standards and applicable regulatory requirements

• Assist with patient mobility and transfers as needed during imaging procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) program or equivalent

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist licensure

• ARRT certification with active registration

• Strong knowledge of general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures

• Excellent technical analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
