Job Summary
Responsibility
- The team leader daily logistics operations within the plant focusing on raw materials receipt and finished goods dispatch.
- Manage and optimize storage solutions for raw materials and finished goods to ensure space utilization and inventory integrity.
- Oversee inventory management processes including stock tracking cycle counts and reconciliation to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
- Coordinate shuttle operations between the warehouse and the plant to ensure timely and efficient material flow.
- Collaborate with procurement production and warehouse teams to align logistics activities with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations inventory accuracy and transportation efficiency.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics activities to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Identify and resolve logistics issues delays or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements in all logistics operations..
- Maintaining all system transactions on timely manner targeting 100% of stock accuracy
Working Conditions
- This position requires regular presence on the plant floor and warehouse 50% of times
- This position requires to be present in plant with no working from home privilege
Qualification
- Preferably a Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in logistics supervision preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment at least 5 years working experience
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Arabic & English language Fluency
