The Document Controller operating within the PMC team is responsible for managing and controlling all project documentation to ensure accuracy accessibility traceability and compliance with the projects governance and quality standards. The role supports design procurement construction and handover phases across residential commercial and public-realm components of the mixed-use development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control all project documents through the EDMS ensuring proper filing indexing and version control.
Track and update document registers monitor submission/review cycles and issue regular document control reports.
Ensure all documentation complies with project standards naming conventions and quality requirements.
Coordinate document workflows between the client consultants contractors and the PMC team to support timely approvals.
Support project teams with document retrieval submission and correspondence management.
Maintain and administer the EDMS providing user support and troubleshooting as required.
Prepare and compile all close-out and handover documentation including as-builts and O&M manuals.
Qualifications :
Diploma or Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
minimum 5 years of experience in document control including 3 years working on projects in Saudi Arabia preferably within PMC or large-scale construction projects.
Proven experience using EDMS platforms (Aconex Primavera Unifier Procore SharePoint or equivalent).
Strong understanding of document workflows revision control and project communication processes.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and Arabic
