Job Summary

Pick materials accurately as per pick lists and stage them before end users request them.
Verify part numbers quantities and specifications to ensure correct issuance.
Properly tag label and identify materials on shelves and storage locations.
Receive incoming materials inspect for quantity and damage and record receipts in the system.
Store materials in designated locations following FIFO and standard storage procedures.
Operate forklifts reach trucks pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely to move load unload and stack materials.
Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
Perform daily equipment checks and report any defects or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and physical inventories.
Carry out 5S activities to ensure a clean organized and safe work environment.
Optimize storage layout to improve space utilization and accessibility.
Follow all safety rules traffic management plans and PPE requirements.
Coordinate with supervisors and end users regarding material availability and shortages.
Assist with packaging kitting and preparation of materials for production or dispatch as required.

Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or a Bachelors degree preferably in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a material handling warehouse or similar operational role.
Valid certification/license to operate forklifts reach trucks and other material handling equipment or willingness to obtain.
Prior experience in a manufacturing engineering or industrial environment is an added advantage.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software is a plus.
