Overview of the role:
We have an exciting new role in our IP & Litigation Team for someone who has an interest in IP and is looking for a varied role where no two days are the same. Youll be reporting to the IP Legal Counsel in a team of 8 who work to ensure the company brands remain reputable.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
Our recently renovated Dublin office is the perfect place for team collaboration and individual growth. It hosts 2 cafes a games room gym and an abundance of meeting rooms catered for groups of all sizes. We also run regular social and well-being initiatives from annual sports days to weekly nail technicians on-site.
What youll do:
Youll be responsible for the maintenance of our IP portfolios comprising of nearly 3000 trade marks including meeting renewal deadlines responding to Office Actions and filing UK and EU trade mark applications.
In addition you will assist with surveillance and risk assessments for the addition you will work with our worldwide network of attorneys to ensure our brands overcome any obstacles and achieve trade mark registration.
You will play a key role in ensuring that documentation such as Powers of Attorney and Agreements are signed and completed ensuring that the documents are submitted in good time before any deadline.
What youll bring:
An enthusiastic approach to assisting a team who are usually very busy! A passion for organisation and a keen eye for detail are important skills to bring to the role. An interest in sport/poker/gaming and a willingness to travel are helpful. Excellent communication across a range of channels and audiences are desired.
