Job Title: Application Engineer

Job location: Nashville TN

Job Duration: 3 Months Contract to Hire

Job Description:

The Application Engineer 5 YEARS OF EXP serving as a team member for design build implementation and support of ITG Care Management enterprise application initiatives.
This position collaborates with other members of the team to ensure quality applications are delivered on time following business owner specifications and ITG development standards.
This position requires a candidate who can analyze business requirements perform design tasks construct test and implement solutions with minimal supervision.
This candidate will have a track record of participation in successful projects in a fast-paced mixed team (consultant and employee) environment.
The candidate will also be required to learn about existing legacy systems and provide on-going technical support for both existing and new applications. The applicant will provide second-level support for existing applications within a group. The Application Engineer must be a highly motivated self-starter an enthusiastic learner and must be committed to delivering high quality solutions within scheduled timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members to successfully execute development initiatives using Agile practices and principles
Integrates new/existing software with existing systems
Collaborate with business analysts project leader management and customers on requirements
Participates in large-scale development projects involving multiple areas outside of core team
Designs fit-for-purpose products to ensure products align to the customers strategic plans and technology road maps
Demonstrates value-based decision making and Agile principles across teams
Gain expertise on existing system structure constraints and deficiencies with product
Shares knowledge and experience to contribute to growth of overall team capabilities
Focus on customer satisfaction
Prototypes and deliver quality solutions
Gather requirements designs constructions and delivers solutions with minimal team interaction
Works in an environment with rapidly changing business requirements and priorities
Contributor to the teams continuous integration and continuous delivery automation pipeline

Mandatory Skills:

Demonstration of and belief in the Agile mindset.
Experience with Python SQL T SQL Spark SQL. SQL Server RESTful Services (i.e. Web API)
1 years of engineering delivering and supporting production software products required.
1 years working with object-oriented design SQL and web programming required.
Experience using Databricks and/or ETL processing
Experience using Docker
Delivery of past software systems with documented value required.
Strong focus on delivering customer value required.
Troubleshooting analysis and problem-solving abilities required.
Ability to engineer and build software through multiple languages and tools required.
Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to work with staff and business required.
Experience with Scrum and Domain Driven Design preferred.
Experience building micro service.
Willingness to learn our business domain required.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment preferred.
Python or scripting within Azure Databricks
Experience working with Kafka streaming data sets
Experience with Cisco Connect and other Cisco messaging products
Experience with messaging tools platforms protocols standards and best practices
RCS and SMS messaging experience preferred
Experience with HL7 and FHIR is preferred
Experience with web development languages (HTML CSS Javascript Typescript) are preferred
Exposure to Azure tools and environments
Experience using Power BI Google Looker or other similar reporting tools
