Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain lawful possession and safe control of assigned firearm while on duty

Preserve evidence and maintain chain of custody for incidents

Monitor access point check credential search bags /vehicle when authorized

Conduct static post duties and or patrol assigned areas on foot vehicle.

Observe and report suspicious activity and complete incident /occurence reports

Respond quickly and appropriate to alarms disturbances medical emergencies fire or security breaches

Use de-escalation and non lethal force technique as primary response employ firearm only according to policy only according policy and law

Maintain radio/communication log and coordinate with supervisor police and emergency services

Preserve evidence and maintain chain of custody for incidents when required

Perform routine equipment checks and firearms safety checks /cleaning
