The opportunity
As Supply Chain Manager for the Greater China cluster (Hong Kong / Macau Taiwan China) you will:
- Oversee all commercial supply chain activities for your assigned markets including inbound logistics warehouse operations demand and supply planning ordering inventory management master data and supply chain projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholderssuch as Supply Hub Teva global sites EMSO logistics partners NPI team and customsto ensure seamless alignment with cross-functional teams (Commercial Finance Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance Logistics etc.).
- Ensure full compliance with Tevas corporate and local guidelines.
How youll spend your day
- Lead demand planning and local-to-local supply planning; support country and cluster S&OP processes.
- Support Commercial for tender process by working with SC Hub sites ensuring we can provide supply continuity as per tender requirement.
- Coordinate with shipping sites supply hubs freight forwarders clearance agents and internal/external partners to ensure timely import and on-time delivery of goods to 3PL/4PL partners distributors and customers.
- Manage local warehouse operations including relabeling and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers and distributors (3PL 4PL).
- Oversee MTO customer planning forecasting and ordering.
- Optimize inventory management to meet sales demand minimize out-of-stock situations back orders and write-offs.
- Maintain data integrity across IT systems such as MDG SAP APO and IBP.
- Implement and follow SOPs driving new processes to achieve supply chain KPIs as per AOP.
- Support new product launches and ad hoc supply chain projects ensuring operational readiness and timely execution.
- Continuously improve supply chain processes and efficiency to meet current and future business needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external supply chain stakeholders.
Your experience and qualifications
- Minimum 8 years experience in commercial supply logistics distribution or demand planning within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record with multinational companies in Hong Kong Taiwan and/or China.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools including SAP modules APO and IBP.
- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English; Cantonese is an advantage.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident negotiator and leader with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
