Purpose of the role:
- To manage a portfolio of clients to ensure delivery of assessment and related services such as training to meet or exceed client expectations whilst ensuring BSI protocol are maintained. Assessments will usually follow one of the following formats:
- Pre-assessments to evaluate readiness for formal assessment;
- Initial assessments/ re-certifications at which a recommendation is made on the Clients suitability for registration; & thereafter; Continuing assessments and strategic reviews to ensure that operating practices continue to meet requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the assessment of clients or provide training in accordance with BSI requirements.
- Make presentations and prepare assessment reports outlining the findings of the assessment to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate.
- Deliver the days as booked by the operations support team and maximize revenue-earning activity.
- Lead assessment teams as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with Clients and within the team.
- Maintain and develop own skills and knowledge both technologically and in the field of management and standards.
- Actively pursue cross selling opportunities to clients and provide feedback to team manager.
Skills:
- Typically educated to Engineering Degree level / other specialist qualification in a subject or equivalent industrial experience. Knowledge and experience in the area of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR 2011/305) and the Gas Appliance Regulation (GAR 2016/426) would be welcome as well as auditing experience.
- As a BSI Auditor youll work with our clients to get to know their business whilst you audit their organization or products against the relevant national and international management standards (For this role were looking for someone who already has a good level of knowledge and auditing experience in more than one management standards ISO9001ISO14001andISO 45001 and others) in turn allowing them to improve their business performance.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (any other European languages are a plus)
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards.
- Proven negotiation skills to be able to negotiate technical issues when dealing with the client organizations management in relation to assessment findings.
- Excellent presentation skills able to present assessment findings professionally and effectively to senior managers.
