Position Title: Radiology Technologist (CWR)
Location: Paramus NJ (07652)
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Duration: 13-week assignment
Pay Rate: $55 $60 per hour

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist (Radiology Tech) performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and medical conditions. This role ensures patient safety produces high-quality diagnostic images and adheres to radiation safety standards and hospital protocols while providing compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations (general X-ray) as ordered by physicians.

• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.

• Operate maintain and troubleshoot radiographic imaging equipment.

• Verify patient identity and clearly explain imaging procedures.

• Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients staff and self.

• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission.

• Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR (EPIC preferred).

• Maintain compliance with hospital state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate effectively with radiologists physicians nurses and other healthcare staff.

• Maintain a clean safe and organized imaging environment.

• Assist with patient transport and positioning when needed.

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

• Perform other related radiology duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

• Experience in general diagnostic radiology (X-ray).

• Strong knowledge of anatomy patient positioning and radiation safety.

• EMR experience (EPIC preferred).

Preferred Experience:

• Hospital or acute-care radiology experience.

• Experience in high-volume imaging departments.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT (R) certification.

• Active state licensure (if required by New Jersey).

• BLS (AHA).
