Director Consulting Services Financial Services Insurance

Position Description:

As a Director Consulting Services you will play a crucial role by focusing on our most valuable assets: our clients our business and our employees. You will work with multiple existing clients within the insurance sector while also being responsible for developing existing and new business opportunities. You will be an essential part of CGIs continued growth journey with significant opportunities to influence both your own and your teams career development. Additionally you will be a member of the management team within the unit focusing on insurance where you will actively contribute to the operational tactical and strategic development of the unit.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in System Development and Service Delivery who also has a true passion for business development. We believe that you have an extensive network within IT and the insurance industry and are experienced in engaging with clients to understand their challenges and opportunities in both digitalization and business development.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Director Consulting Services you will be responsible for the groups growth financial performance capacity planning and competency development. You will have profit and budget responsibility for your clients and the employees within your team.

One of your key challenges will be to drive aggressive growth targets for the group with a focus on the following areas:

Business Development Act as a strategic advisor to our clients aiming to deepen partnerships and open new business opportunities.

Leadership Lead develop and motivate your employees to achieve both their personal goals and CGIs objectives. Your team will consist of approximately 1520 employees.

Recruitment Attract retain and recruit new talent to expand your team.

Operational Management Ensure the achievement of revenue profitability and growth targets in alignment with the teams roadmap and growth plan.

Industry Expertise Stay updated on developments within System Development and the insurance sector to maintain a leading advisory role within CGI in these areas.

Management Team Collaboration Actively participate in the management team to develop the unit and maintain our commitment to being a world-class team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

We are looking for someone who enjoys developing both business and client relationships. You are driven by identifying new business opportunities that create value for clients. Your experience within insurance Business Consulting and IT enables you to easily understand technology and discuss client needs linking them to our services and strategic competency development for our employees.

As a person you are highly motivated and thrives in a progressive and change-driven environment. You are a leader who motivates and engages your employees with a positive and communicative attitude as well as the determination to develop both the business and your team.
