Job Summary

As a Server Engineer youll design develop and maintain scalable backend services for a new AI-powered chatbot this role youll help define how users design personalize and interact with digital characters unlocking new possibilities in storytelling communication and play. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions.

In your day-to-day you will:

Design develop and maintain scalable backend services using Scala Kafka and related technologies
Build and evolve the core platform for a new AI-powered chatbot product integrating multiple APIs and services
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of backend features from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical direction for distributed systems and event-driven workflows
Collaborate closely with client and AI teams to ensure high performance reliability and seamless user experiences

Qualifications :

23 years of experience in backend development
Solid understanding of distributed systems event streaming and Kafka-based architectures
Experience with microservices REST/gRPC APIs and data processing pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills code quality discipline and attention to scalability and performance
Written and spoken English proficiency
Experience with AI or LLM-driven products an advantage
