nsibleforproviding a variety of technical procedures andapplyprescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for ourGoHealthUrgent Care patients. This roleis responsible forperforming and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation ofGoHealthUrgent Care a collaborative manner the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers MedicalAssistantsand patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management organization and communication.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology programrequired
  • High School Diploma or equivalentrequired

Work Experience

  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)requiredat the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registrationrequired.
  • Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologistrequired.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for x-ray services as needed
  • Under the direction of the clinical provider perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy toassistin diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
  • Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.
  • Will need to push patient in a wheelchair

Patient Preparation and Rooming

  • Inform technical staff of patient flow.
  • Prepare patients for examination which includes conducting interviews to verify patient information record medical history; confirm purpose of visit;
  • Perform preliminary physical test (blood pressure weight temperature etc.) for vital signs and escalate critical cases toprovideras needed.
  • Conduct point of care testing as needed (i.e. flu strep urinalysis ECG HCG); and provide patient information toprovider.

Administrative

  • Responsible for maintenance of medical records and scanning charts to patient files.
  • Conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up on care
  • Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment;maintainQuality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns perform preventive maintenance andsubmitrepair tickets as needed

Other responsibilities include:

  • Medical Team Support: Collaborate with the ordering/treating Provider todeterminewhich procedures or views will bestassistinaccuratediagnoses and treatment. Support clinic operations to keep the center running smoothly.
  • Patient Care:Explaining procedures to patients ensuring their comfort and safety and answering their questions.
  • Patient Positioning:Accurately positioning patients and equipment foroptimalimaging results.
  • Image Production:Selecting proper ionizing factors by adjusting/setting radiographic controls to capture clear high-quality diagnostic images
  • Equipment Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance cleaning of X-ray equipment and managing necessary supplies.
  • Radiation Safety:Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols and implementing ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Documentation:Maintainingaccuratepatient records andloggingcompleted procedures in electronic systems and/or logbooks asrequired.
  • Image Management:Verifying image quality and ensuring images are sent to radiologists for interpretation.

Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols.

2. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-ray testing including body mechanics

and patient movement.

3. Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology.

Skills:

1. Positioning patients properly for the X-ray procedurerequired.

Position Overview
We areseekinga dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Representative to join our remote team. This role supports patient communication documentation and provider coordination.

Essential Functions

  • Receive high volume of incoming patient calls
  • Make outgoing calls to relay results to patients as requested by providers
  • Document all interactions using EpicSmartPhrases/Templates
  • Check voicemails hourly andend of day
  • Address provider tasks promptlyand route notes to providers
  • Prioritize multitasking and documentation accuracy
  • Utilize andRespondto Microsoft Teams messages in real-time
  • Willutilizecompany computer requiring VPN and stable internet
  • Ensure device encryption and patient data protection
  • Objectiveaccurate and complete charting
  • Escalate undocumented results to providers
  • All patient interactions must be documented
  • Maintain professionalism during patient interactions

Job Requirements

Education

  • High School Diplomarequired
  • Graduate of a Medical Assisting Programpreferred

Work Experience

  • Medical Assistant experiencepreferred
  • Front Desk experiencepreferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with EPIC EMRrequired
  • Experience with insurance

Required Licenses/Certifications
