Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Saskatoon Canada. As a Housekeeping Attendant you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our guests and staff.
- Clean and maintain assigned areas including guest rooms public spaces and employee areas
- Make beds change linens and restock amenities in guest rooms
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors in various areas of the facility
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilets showers and sinks
- Dust and polish furniture fixtures and equipment
- Empty trash bins dispose of waste and manage recycling
- Organize and maintain cleaning supply closets and housekeeping carts
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested
- Receive linen orders and organize linen on housekeeping area
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Attendant Camp Attendant Janitor or Chambermaid in a commercial setting could be an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
- Knowledge of cleaning products equipment and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days nights weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Good attendance record and reliability
- Ability to follow established cleaning techniques and learn new procedures quickly
- Close vision distance vision peripheral vision and depth perception abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
