Department Profile

ISG has created an ISG Data Group (IDG) to providesinglepoint of accountability for the full spectrum of data related commercial initiatives. This ranges from the defensive risk reduction aspects of data security (both internal and external) through operational efficiency from improving data quality to helping enhance revenue through furtherleveragingour data assets for providing services to our clients.

The ISG Divisional Data Office (DDO) is part of IDG andis responsible forthe oversight and integrity of the data used for senior management regulatory or client reporting or used by internal controls. Using a risk-based prioritizationmethodology the teamis responsible forworking with control groups to prioritize key data which may require improvements in the controls to ensure integrity of that data.

Position Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President who will drive progress across complex multi-stakeholder environments ensuring alignment and momentum even when priorities ideal candidate will be comfortablewithmanagingend-to-endprocessesacross multiple internal systems and tooling translating stakeholderneedsinto actionablerequirementsfor technology teams and designing solutions in ambiguous contexts.

Skill Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Proventrack recordof project management and process improvement
  • Strong motivation and a self-starter with a positive outlook and desire to solve problems independently with minimal guidance
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability toidentifyand escalate issues effectively and appropriately
  • Excellent communication skills capable of synthesizing complex requirements when engaging with senior stakeholders and technology teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity challenge assumptions and drive initiatives to completion

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assessprioritization of various client-facing featuresand capabilities: Lead initiatives that require balancing diverse stakeholder viewsbuildingmomentum and deliveringmeasurableresults. Foster consensus and ensure projectobjectivesremain on track
  • End-to-End Process Management: Oversee workflows frominceptionto completionutilizingcomplex internal platforms and tools. Ensure seamless integration across business units technology and control functions.
  • Convey business requirements for technologyteams: Gather distill and articulate stakeholder requirements in clear actionable terms fordeveloperteams. Facilitate effective communication to ensure deliverables meet business needs
  • Managingambiguity andresourceconstraints:design and implement solutions for problems where priorities areunclearand technology resources are limited.
  • Apply creative problem-solving and strategic planning to deliver value under uncertainty.
  • Collaborate with senior management desk heads and control functions to evaluate anddynamicallyrespond toconstantly evolvingclient needs and sales team priorities

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $145000 and $250000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
