Job Description

We provide enterprises with a real-time usage data layer that transforms raw usage data into actionable information for billing in real time and at high scale.
We are actively building our latest platform Usage Engine Cloud Edition - a multi-tenant cloud based SaaS offering to our clients. We are already processing billions of events per month and some very well-known companies are coming on board right now.
As we evolve were shifting our focus to extracting insight and delivering value from the data we process. We call this Usage Intelligencedelivering capabilities like anomaly detection usage forecasting and churn prediction. These innovations are powered by AI and machine learning which are becoming a core part of our product strategy to help our customers stay ahead in a data-driven world.
What youll do
- Design implement and maintain robust automation frameworks for frontend and backend testing.
- Develop and optimize automated test scripts using Playwright and ensure coverage across functional regression integration and performance testing.
- Build data-driven reusable test suites that evolve with the product and support testing for big data pipelines event-driven interactions and LLM-based features.
- Execute automated test suites analyze results report defects and work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
- Ensure tests run reliably in containerized and Kubernetes-based environments.
- Test cloud-native microservices-based systems on AWS leveraging Docker Kubernetes and Datadog monitoring.
- Validate scalability resilience and performance in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
- Work side by side with the Lead QA to align on QA strategy and standards.
- Collaborate daily with developers product managers and DevOps engineers to embed quality into the delivery process.
- Contribute to test design discussions with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
- Actively participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning bringing a test-first perspective.
- Promote shift-left testing by engaging early in design and requirement discussions.
- Continuously improve automation practices and introduce new tools and techniques.
- Stay updated with automation DevOps and AI-driven testing trends.
- Experiment with AI-powered testing approaches to boost efficiency and coverage.
What youll bring
- Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (bonus: Java).
- Proven experience with automation tools (Playwright).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and Git.
- Strong experience testing cloud-based SaaS platforms including complex large-scale data pipelines.
- Good understanding of microservices APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Practical knowledge of Docker Kubernetes AWS.
- Solid grasp of software testing methodologies (integration component performance contract regression).
- Curiosity and adaptability: interest in AI testing and modern quality engineering practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work in cross-functional teams.
