Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (General) to perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures. This role operates under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of Radiology leadership requiring independent judgment technical expertise and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
Operate adjust and maintain ultrasound equipment with a high level of proficiency
Provide care tailored to patients across all age groups including infants through older adults
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with departmental and organizational standards
Adhere to all regulatory safety and quality requirements
Demonstrate effective time management and workflow prioritization
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional bedside manner
Utilize internal and external resources appropriately
Complete administrative and related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited ultrasound program
RDMS certification in Abdominal and/or OB/GYN or Echocardiography
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
