Working Hours: Eastern Standard Time (EST) Full overlap

Role Overview
The Lead Electrical Estimator forecasts project costs by reviewing project drawings and specifications compiling data and preparing detailed estimates. You will create professional bids budget proposals and design/build estimates aligned with company standards. Critical thinking initiative and operational awareness are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate project costs materials labor equipment services.
- Prepare detailed bids budget proposals and design/build estimates.
- Analyze electrical plans and specifications across trades to ensure requirements are met.
- Allocate resources (materials labor tools transport) within budget constraints.
- Manage pricing adjustments and change orders throughout project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to resolve material orders and supply issues professionally.
- Assist in project oversight: define staffing needs outline project plans set deadlines and evaluate performance.
- Maintain high-quality output and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate independently and within a team to achieve project goals.
- Use industry-standard estimation and project management tools/software (Accubid Procore Planswift on-screen take-off leveling sheets MS Office).
Key Requirements
- 5 years experience in commercial electrical cost estimation.
- Strong track record in cost estimation bid preparation and budgeting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and drawings.
- Proficiency (or willingness to learn) with estimation tools/software and MS Office.
- Excellent English communication skills written verbal and mathematical/logical reasoning.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work EST hours with at least 6hour overlap.
- Alignment with company standards values and quality expectations.
- Pass required background check (and any required drug test or screening).
