As a6-Week Tripper you will lead and deliver extended wilderness canoe expeditions that are safe challenging and deeply transformative. You will also complete required documentationparticipatein training and planning and communicate regularly with camp leadership to support camper well-being and program excellence.
Youll bring:
Previousexperience leading extended wilderness canoe trips with strong skills inpaddling portaging navigation and backcountry living. The ability to manage group dynamics respond calmly in emergencies and support camper safety and development in remote environments. A demonstrated commitment to inclusion safeguarding environmental stewardship and the Ys mission and values.
Required Certifications:Standard First Aid with CPR-C National lifeguard (waterfront)Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Moving Water White Water Rescue (WWR)
