Principal Accountabilities :

(A) Strategic
Implementation of hospitals /medical services vision & philosophy.
Infection control Health care waste management awareness of patients rights & safety issues relationship building.
(B) Operational
To ensure Medical Records are promptly transferred to other satellite centers as per the request.
To procure and keep all forms and stationary needed for every week from stores.
To solve problems and grievous (if any) of patients and to ensure patient satisfaction.
To ensure medical records are inactivated and disposed based on the inactive policy.
To ensure adequate space and racks are available to keep medical records every month.
To ensure missing medical records or wrongly filled medical records are searched and taken out.
To coordinate or alter work for any other job assigned by the HOD or by the management as and when it is required.
Performance Parameters
Quality and timeliness of the service delivery.
Thorough Medical Records keeping.
To ensure error free Medical Record entry in all allocated areas.
To maintain highest standards in infection control & waste management.
Handling of grievances of patients & the internal staff.
Prompt grievance/complaint handlings. Handling of grievances of patients & the internal staff.
Experience
2 years experience of working in Medical Records Department in at least 200 bedded hospital
Knowledge
Quick Thinking Fast Moving generalist and have wide spectrum of knowledge.
Strong communication skills.
Conceptual and Analytical skills.
Computer literacy and hands on PC.
