The Opportunity:

Provides age-appropriate diagnosis treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system the eyes and associated structures including the diagnosis of related systemic conditions to University students. Implements policies and procedures that affect clinic operations and the delivery of patient care.

This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime exempt.

Monthly Salary:

$10871 - $13499 Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited college or university of optometry requiring course of study of at least four (4) years and a valid State of Washington Optometrist license including endorsement to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.

  • A valid Washington State license to practice optometry required at the time of hire including endorsement to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in college health optometry; Two years of professional experience as an optometrist.
