As a Senior Technical Analyst you will be responsible for managing Linux and Solaris patching across enterprise environments. This role ensures system stability security and compliance through efficient patch management and automation.
Is this role right for you In this role you will:
- Execute end-to-end patching cycles for Linux and Solaris servers including scheduling approvals deployment and validation.
- Troubleshoot patch failures dependency issues and performance anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements; perform OS hardening and vulnerability remediation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and Ansible playbooks for patching tasks.
- Support OS upgrades migrations and lifecycle management.
- Maintain documentation for patching procedures rollback plans and known issues.
- Collaborate with application teams to minimize downtime during patch windows.
- Monitor and report patch health and compliance status.
- Participate in incident management and root-cause analysis for patch-related issues.

- Strong expertise in Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) and Solaris (10/11) administration.
- Proficiency in YUM/DNF/PKG kernel modules SELinux systemd LVM ZFS and networking.
- Hands-on experience with patching tools repositories and satellite servers.
- Ability to troubleshoot OS-level issues in production environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident Change Problem).
- Certifications: RHEL & Solaris Administration.
- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of CIS/DISA security benchmarks.
- Cloud awareness (AWS Azure GCP
