We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our Industrial Engineering department in this role youll work to enhance process capability efficiency and overall productivity at our manufacturing facilities for both existing and new products.

About the job

As a Production Engineer at INVISIO you will be responsible for product and production maintenance projects together with suppliers and contract manufacturers worldwide as INVISIO has outsourced manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee product and production maintenance projects with suppliers and contract manufacturers worldwide.
  • Ensure suppliers and contract manufacturers meet quality control delivery requirements and cost targets.
  • Facilitate smooth production operations by addressing issues and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Participate in product development projects with a focus on design for manufacturing.
  • Support projects by coordinating prototype alpha and beta builds and conduct build reviews and perform hands-on tasks on the shop floor.
  • Conduct investigations and tests related to development and non-conformities.
  • Technical interface and coordination between manufacturing collaborators.
  • Progress tracking and documentation review.
  • Collect information from new product introductions (learning).

You will become an important member of a skilled and committed team working together and supporting one another to accomplish our collective goals.

This position requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers across different departments such as R&D Sales Supply Chain QA etc. and communicate across various levels of the organization and manufacturing partners to support the day-to-day operations.

About you

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering or Technical degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent. A few years of experience with manufacturing electro-mechanical assembly preferably with contract manufacturing is desirable but if you are newly graduated in the field we would like to hear from you too.

Knowledge of product design electromechanical assembly machining tooling injection molding and materials is seen as a great advantage because it allows for best practices in providing process improvements.

You must be able to work in cross-functional teams with many different personalities as you will be in contact with various collaborators.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience in high-mix / low-volume manufacturing and high-volume assembly. Knowledge of plastic injection molding is a plus.
  • Knowledge in reviewing product- and production documentation.
  • The ability to influence and build positive relationships with team members across the organization.
  • Understanding the importance of a good working environment demonstrating great team-spirit and interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written English as it is our company language.
  • Holding a drivers license and have access to a car is a plus.
  • Understanding Scandinavian languages is a great advantage.

You must be able to work on-site in Hvidovre Copenhagen and travel 10-25 days per year primarily within Europe.
