They work closely with IT and Business Groups to design robust data governance processes and data architectures that support scalable growth and adaptability and enhance data quality.Additionally the Data Strategy Senior Director identifies opportunities to leverage data for improving business processes and enhancing customer experiences. They stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously refine data management practices and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Defines the strategy for the implementation of key technology systems that build internal capacity to modernize data assets and infrastructure.

This panoramic view is essential for identifying connections and causations that might be missed in siloed data sets.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data for improving business processes and customer experience. Partner with Business Groups to enhance the Authorities ability to use predictive analytics to transition from a reactive to proactive organization.
- Stays currentwith industry trends and emerging data management technologies. Ensures scalability allowing for expansion of data capabilities avoiding need for constant overhauls or replacements.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that data governance analytics and reporting frameworks are aligned with the Authoritys strategic objectives.
- Establish and lead data stewardship programs ensuring clear ownership accountability and adoption of governance practices between IT and business functions.
- Provides leadership and mentorship to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making. Communicate data strategies and insights to stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Work closely with other agencies to share best practices and where possible align strategies and technologies to enable better data management across the Commonwealth.
