Job Summary:

The Lead Field Engineer acts as our companys field representative at critical and highly sensitive base and remote locations including customer and supplier facilities. This vital role supports hardware and software installation as well as configuration and troubleshooting on complex integrated network systems. The Field Engineer supports regular special and integrated system test programs including scenario-based testing developmental testing (DT) and operational testing (OT) at company and customer locations. The Field Engineer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing customer requirements in L3Harris ForceXs Agile/Scrum software development cycle and constantly maintains ForceXs exceptional reputation through positive customer interaction. The Lead Field Engineer is a highly skilled and experienced individual contributor working autonomously and on complex assignments to achieve operational targets which have a significant impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.

Essential Functions: This FSE will support the Products division in multiple roles:

1) Provide on-site support for the installation integration maintenance and troubleshooting of c-UAS systems.

2) Conduct system testing diagnostics and repairs to ensure optimal performance.

3) Deliver comprehensive training to end-users and operators on the proper use and maintenance of c-UAS equipment.

4) Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical issues and facilitate continuous improvement of cUAS systems.

5) Stay current with the latest advancements in c-UAS technology and best practices.

6) Ensure compliance with all relevant safety security and operational protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Secret clearance or higher required
3 years of hands-on experience with c-UAS technologies or similar defense/security systems military standards and technical documentation diagnostic tools and test equipment diagnose and resolve hardware and software issuesand development of test cases to properly validate software features
Ability to travel 30% including potential deployment to remote or hostile environments.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Holder of a Department of Defense Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) required
Experience with related technologies such as radar systems electronic warfare or surveillance systems.
Two (2) or more years of experience troubleshooting technical and/or software products required
Appropriate technology industry certifications such as CompTIAs A/Network/Security/Server Cisco CCNA/CCDA Microsoft MTA/MCSA etc. strongly preferred

Experience as a Department of Defense Instructor/Evaluator strongly preferred
